We know music learning happens with the same brain function as learning a language. The ideal period to take advantage of the auditory processing system is called the “Music Learning Window” and occurs between ages 0-9. Waiting until children can read and achieve the necessary finger dexterity means this window is lost.

Age Appropriate Methods
Kids can learn musical concepts early on when taught using age-appropriate methods. Introducing critical music concepts in ways students learn best help make them intuitive. Children in St. Louis attending our piano and music classes learn lessons like transposing, composition, sight-reading, and improvisation.
Ages 0-4
In our family class, children ages 0-4 join their caregiver in exploring instrument play, solfege, ear training, movement, singing, and nursery rhymes. Additionally, parent bonding and emotional security get woven into each class.
Ages 4-6
Let’s Play Music is our flagship class. The customized curriculum maximizes each student's learning potential. We build a strong foundation in note reading, chord theory, solfege, ear training, classical music, and beginning piano instruction.
Ages 7-12
Older children will benefit from our beginning piano class, which introduces proper piano techniques at an accelerated pace. In addition, we cover music history, chord theory, ear training, composition, and solfege.
