The Piano Playing Dilemma
Did you know children can learn to play the piano well before most lessons typically begin?
The ideal time to begin music lessons is between the ages 0-9, which is known as the “Music Learning Window.” As scientific studies show, music is learned using the same auditory processing system as language learning. Waiting to introduce piano until children can read and have finger dexterity means this prime learning window is lost. Let’s Play Music developed a curriculum that teaches music to Atlanta area children in the right way and at the right time.

At Let's Play Music, we teach advanced musical concepts to students in the Atlanta area using enjoyable, accessible, and age-appropriate instruction.

When children in our Atlanta preschool music classes are engaged in fun activities with their peer groups, learning happens naturally. Our students have fun, laughing, jumping, playing, telling stories, and using their imaginations. This environment encourages participation and our students excel.

We introduce children's music & piano lessons to our Atlanta students using ways children learn best and as soon as they are ready to learn. Doing so makes sight-reading, composition, improvisation, and transposing second nature for them.
Ages 0-4
Our introductory class is a family class that provides a musical foundation for our youngest students (ages 0-4) and their caregivers. We cover movement, ear training, singing, instrument play, nursery rhymes, and solfege. Parent bonding and emotional security are also incorporated into all Sound Beginnings classes.
Ages 4-6
In our Atlanta children’s music & piano lessons, we include beginning piano and basic foundational music skills. We utilize a custom curriculum to maximize each student’s learning potential. Your child will learn note reading, chord theory, solfege, classical music, and piano.
